The Minister of Defence and War Veteran’s Affairs is now liable to pay damages of up to forty thousand United States dollars to two Victims of the 1 August 2018 shootings.Andy Manyeruke and Dzikamai Chivanga were represented by the Forum’s Advocate Mandide and Darlington Marange.

The matter is a serious test for the apex court whose judges were cited in the high court matter. Now that Former CJ Malaba decided not to sit in the matter, what remains to be seen is if the judges will be judges in their own matter!
