Had some good seeing tonight. Was able to get Jupiter and Saturn nicely, this is my first Jupiter and Saturn images. I don't have photoshop, and I really and guessing on processing, but I am very pleased. Zwo 120mc-s camera, 1000 frames stacked. 127 mm Ed triplet OTA. @zwoasi
@SenFettermanPA I hate to say it, but that’s being wishy washy. The shut down is the means as to get the Tax credits extended, they won’t budge for the people of this country, only on what they want. If you believe they’ll come back later on promises, you’re not paying attention.
I’m proud of this one.
I brought a solar telescope to Florida to capture a Falcon 9 rocket launch transiting the sun. While these have been captured before, never with the details of the sun’s chromosphere, which makes this one the first!

On this Day in 1969, the Apollo 11 crew successfully accomplishes the first human landing on the Moon, touching down in the Sea of Tranquility. Six and a half hours later, astronauts Neil Armstrong and @TheRealBuzz make history as the first humans to walk on the lunar surface.
On my best photo of Jupiter you can see some the surface detail on its largest moon: Ganymede
Absolutely incredible what’s possible with backyard scopes these days
My friend said, “If Mars is so small, how is Musk going to get all those people on it.”
Lunar occultation of Mars last night. I am too old to stand out in the cold like that! Do they still do those fund me thingys?🤣 I need a small observatory. #Moon#MarsOccultation#Mars
Wondering if the white “Nebulosity” is stray light from the dome or if it’s real? Thoughts? This is only about 30 minutes of exposure. #Astrophotography#Swan
Btw I’m gonna call this the dragon nebula from now on. 🤪
