Still, I'm really proud of what I made and will now take a little extra time to polish it and add the bells and whistles I originally intended (music, animations, the works!) and will just publish with a mention that it was intended as a #LOWREZJAM submission! (2/2)
Well, I missed the deadline for #LOWREZJAM - absolutely gutted as I have worked a lot on this for the past 2 weeks and had rushed like crazy to get something finished in time, but Unity took longer than expected to create the final game build and it ran over the deadline! (1/2)
Currently working on #Nanobyrinth - my submission for #LOWREZJAM 2021 (games must be 64x64 pixels). Really excited about this project as it's WAY outside of the style of games I normally make. Old school dungeon vibes YEAH!

Sneak peak:
Thrilled to say that I came 4th overall in my first ever #WeeklyGameJam with my submission 'Gravity Golf'. I know it's not a huge deal but I am absolutely pumped!

It took me 51 attempts to beat my own game for the first time. This game is hard!
Anyone who manages to complete the single level in Gravity Golf, send me a screenshot and I'll put you in a Hall of Fame.

Guys, I done a thing.
One shot, one goal. Use gravity wells to guide your shot. Can you make it?
Check out Gravity Golf, my submission to #WeeklyGameJam 211 for the theme 'Gravity'. It was made in evenings over 4 days. #WGJ

Big news after another long period of silence - in the next few days I will be releasing not one, but TWO new games: a mobile port of #PuckYou, my first game; and #OddOneIn, my main project from last year that has been sat ready to launch for MONTHS. Stay tuned! #madewithunity
Final announcement: BIG plans for my next project.
Primarily, it will NOT be a mobile game. That's right, I'm moving on up!
Also, swords?
Stay tuned for updates next month, in the meantime I'll be working on a game design document and a project plan for the game. #IndieGameDev
Third announcement: In the next few weeks I will be making a substantial upgrade to my ancient and underpowered PC situation, which means more efficient #gamedev, as we as an increased focus on creating content for #Twitch, #YouTube, and of course MORE TWEETS. ๐
#IndieGameDev
Second announcement: I will be making some minor updates to #Tessell8 and, excitingly, porting my older pong clone #PuckYou to Android. More news to come soon, but the aim is to have three games on my Google Play Developer Page by the end of the month! #IndieGameDev
First-up in announcements: #OddOneIn, my "quick and simple" arcade memory game from last year, is officially finished, trailer complete, and has passed the Google Play review process. So will be available very soon. Stay tuned for trailers and official release dates! #IndieGame
@MhelwardN Hey man, I use Hitfilm Express for video editing, it's free and very user friendly ๐๐ for design stuff I use Affinity Designer, it's a pretty good alternative to Adobe Illustrator and much cheaper. Hope that helps!
New year, new look.
Been offline from #gamedev stuff for a while but I am BACK and with plenty of exciting plans for the year, including multiple free game releases in the next few weeks!
In the meantime, here's a fun splash screen I made to showcase the new logo. #IndieGameDev
I'm also very conscious that not everything I produce will be great or using theories correctly, but it's all part of the learning process, using skills that benefit each other with every iteration across all of these areas. Anyway, rambling over, #IndieGameDev is a fun hobby! ๐
Confession time: Instead of finishing up my #gamedev projects, I might have been taking a breather and focusing my efforts on learning more about logo design, especially the #goldenratio, and working on ANOTHER logo concept. Game dev continues when I'm done obsessing! #staytuned
I think for me #indiegamedev isn't just about the games, it's also an opportunity to sharpen up my skills in other hobbies like web development, content creation, graphic design, branding and more. It's awesome to have @Wild_Goat_Games as a sandbox to learn and experiment on all!
No stream this weekend, in case anyone was waiting. Taking a brief hiatus from the weekly #gamedev streams for a week or two so I can focus on finishing assets for #OddOneIn's release. Speaking of which, the trailer progress is looking good so far! #screenshotsaturday#indiegames
In the spirit of my previous tweet, here's what I'm working on today: #GameTrailer composition and editing!
Lots of work planning storyboards, animating, capturing game footage, and more. Really love getting the chance to play in #HitfilmExpress though! #IndieGameDev#gamedev
As an aside, I've been watching a lot of @gamedevudg's videos and it's given me a big push in motivation to be more active on social and engage with the #indiedev community. When you work full time, finding time to work on your #gamedev project can be hard, let alone promote it!
On to more exciting news, I'm pleased to announce that my latest game #OddOneIn for Android & iOS is at last FINISHED. I'm currently midway through producing various web / appstore assets, but here's a sneak preview of how far it's come! ๐ #IndieGameDev#madewithunity#gamedev
