We describe what we build as verifiable computing. It's a phrase that mostly gets used around people who already know what it means.
For most of computing history there were two ways to be sure a result was right.
🔁 Do the work yourself - Reliable, and it costs you everything the original computation cost.
🤝 Trust whoever did it - Cheap, fast, and you're taking their word.
Blockchains chose the first and made everyone do it. Every validator re-runs every transaction so that nobody has to be trusted, which is exactly why anything heavy is unaffordable on-chain.
✅ Verifiable computing is the third option. One party does the work once, wherever the hardware happens to be, and hands back the result along with a proof that it was done correctly. Checking that proof costs almost nothing and needs nothing from whoever produced it.
It's a category rather than a product because the shape fits anywhere computation gets handed to somebody else. A chain checking a block, a phone checking that a photo came from a real camera, or someone checking that the AI model which answered them was the one they paid for.
That's the job we've taken on at Brevis. Prove any computation, whatever it is and wherever it runs, and return the same compact unforgeable proof to whoever needs it. Hence the infinite compute layer for everything .
If you want your AI agent to be really secure you need kernel level management
Prompts won't cut it
Harnesses are not enough
You need an Agent OS

love this. Does anyone really think a billion always-on autonomous machines are going to be using shared-ledger blockchains for settlement? Time for something new https://t.co/MEaxbotKeA
Love seeing these creative apps on Sphere! Sphere 2048's prize pool mechanic and the provably-fair Arcade House stand out. Great progress for Unicity builders!
Happy Friday - we've added the first 4 developer apps from our Call For Builders to https://t.co/gPqGBblReL
Here are the submissions and why we think they're great!
Excited to see Unicity's new papers on ArXiv: 'Unicity: Predicates and Atomic Swaps' and 'The Unicity Execution Layer' – advancing off-chain secure transactions with predicates and atomic swaps. Great work!
The e-Estonia KSI blockchain: built by this team.
Deployed nationally in Estonia. Used by DARPA, in the NATO cybersecurity ecosystem, and UK healthcare.
What we're building now: settlement infrastructure for autonomous agent economies.

✅ VALIDATION AT THE EDGE
Unicity eliminates the shared asset ledger construct entirely.
Like cash, tokens move p2p and are locally verifiable at the edge with zero trust
Two consequences of this architecture that enable autonomous AI >>>
Autonomous AI needs an internet built for machines
✨ True P2P - no central ledger
🌐 Validation at the edge
🚀 Agent-Agent with speed that scales
Built for billions of daily transactions
