Not the way anybody planned for our season to go, but fought hard till the last game. Due to a fractured first rib I missed 9 games, but still finished the year out strong.
Avg: .300
OBP: 377
OPS: 718
Had 1 passed ball all season and threw out 46% of runners CS this season
Adams really impressed me defensively, especially with his toughness (taking two foul balls of the mask) and the way he blocked pitches in the dirt and prevented even more runs from scoring by Newport Harbor. Also recorded a 1.93 pop time in between innings.
‘26 C Will Adams (@WillAdams_24) of Los Alamitos HS
While the scoreboard may not reflect a strong defensive/offensive showing for the Griffins, one of the bright spots came from the senior backstop. Adams showed a strong and athletic presence behind the dish acting as a wall when pitches hit the dirt being able to show great lateral mobility. The senior also showed some excellent frame jobs to steal a few strikes.
Had a go ahead 2B, 2RBI against edison for the sweep. Along with a runner caught stealing. Doing really well for the team both offensively and defensively.
Moved to 2-0 through league play, went 2/3 with a walk in a Win vs Fountain Valley. Slashing 429, OBP of 500, and 5 RBI through 8 games. Going for the sweep on Friday.

Really impressed with Parker Sanchez (‘26) out of Los Alamitos HS. Took mature AB’s all afternoon. Keeps his hands inside the ball here and drives one for a knock. Posted a 2-for-3 day at the plate & made a big league diving play to his left at 2B to prevent a run. Currently @PG_Uncommitted #PGHS
John ‘Rowan’ Shelley (‘26) 6’2/180 out of Los Alamitos HS has on of the sweetest swings in the area. Absolutely hammers one in the gap for a stand up triple. Posted a 1-for-3 day at the plate with a BB. The @FresnoStateBSB commit is the #1 ranked utility player in the state for his class. @RowanShelley09
Los Alamitos 18, Lakewood 1. Junior Will McCullough went 3-3, with a double, 2 runs scored and 2 rbi's.
Senior Will Adams, 2-2, 2 runs, 1 2b and 3 rbi's.
2 pumps are better than 1. Tyler Smith with the two home run game at Citrus. Freshman infielder out of Los Alamitos is off to a scorching start for the Chargers with a 556 average and OPS north of TWO THOUSAND.
