By then, China had invested $15 billion in quantum (with an additional $140 billion in a national fund).
The US had invested a $8 billion. Now the figure has grown to $10 billion, still low.
Last week’s Executive Order 14413 on quantum innovation mentioned the Departments of War, Commerce, and Energy.
The quantum race is on.
$INFQ, in particular, received $100 million in funding from the US government.
The company sells quantum sensors and optical clocks for the instant synchronization of air defense networks and intercepting hypersonic missiles.
When useful quantum computers arrive in two years as guided by the CEO, $INFQ's revenue will explode.

They are placing quantum in the same lineage as the technologies and people that changed the history books.
The Moon landing defined an era of American innovation.
Quantum may define the next one, and Infleqtion is being positioned directly inside that story.
People are still treating this like another speculative stock.

Here’s why I think @nvidia could be sitting directly in the middle of DOE’s new quantum supercomputing initiative, and why I have high confidence that @infleqtion has been preparing for exactly this.
I went back to @SecretaryWright’s comments when NVIDIA announced NVQLink last October, and they read very differently after last week’s quantum executive order.
Researchers from several DOE national labs helped guide the development of NVQLink.
Chris Wright called NVQLink the critical technology needed to unite America’s world-class GPU supercomputers with emerging quantum processors.
Now fast forward to June 2026.
The executive order puts DOE at the center of delivering a scientifically relevant quantum computer and directs the department to identify the technical specifications.
DOE’s own Quantum Genesis announcement then specifically calls for:
• Quantum systems of multiple modalities
• Integration with artificial intelligence
• Integration with existing and future HPC systems
• A unified HPC/AI/quantum computing ecosystem
That sounds remarkably close to the exact problem NVQLink was built to solve.
To be clear, DOE has not announced that NVQLink will be the official bridge for this system.
But DOE labs helped guide its development. The Energy Secretary publicly endorsed it. NVIDIA says DOE-led national labs will use it. And now DOE is asking for the same kind of hybrid QPU/GPU/HPC architecture.
The correlation is hard to ignore.
Then there is @Infleqtion.
Infleqtion is already bringing NVQLink support to Sqale and working with Oak Ridge on quantum/HPC integration through the DOE-backed Quantum Science Center.
DOE has not selected Infleqtion.
But DOE is now describing almost exactly the kind of integrated quantum, AI and supercomputing architecture Infleqtion has already been building toward.
