Just a few weeks ago we were ren=minded to #bekind. Today whilst shopping it felt like every man for himself. It's hard for everyone so let's go back and remember, if you can be anything, be kind. Let's help each other. #Coronavirus

Headteacher here- i've spent the day making some incredibly difficult decisions without any guidance from above. Got home- children had tidied the house and put dinner on. I cried. We need lots of little acts of kindness to show our true character.

I’m putting out a shameless plea. I really would like more blog followers. Post your blog below and I will happily follow you in return for following me. Please share the love ❤️. https://t.co/PNApN5HHF7

Because of the current situation, @HachetteKids are granting permission for authors to live stream read aloud sessions online! Thank you Hachette. I'm going to read one of my novels free online - a chapter a day, in the coming weeks, time to be confirmed. Which should I choose?

We take the chance to move the start of the academic year to January and redistribute the holidays?

Here is Matt Goidfellow reading 2 poems. Maybe you could write one too? Try one about your favourite food or one about or to your mum.

Day 2 of a poem of mine and another one that I love. Today it's 'I fell in love with a crumpet' and 'proud mum' by @literacyoutloud @BloomsburyEd @OtterBarryBooks @PoetryDayUK #poetry #readingforpleasure @MrBoothY6

@lewis_goodall @EmmaHardyMP But it’s not just those on a lower income. I live on my own on the outskirts of London where rent is very high. I’m a teacher on a good wage but there is only one wage to pay everything. I only just scrape by as it is.

For all you folks stuck at home in the coming weeks. from Monday, at 6pm GMT / 2pm EST / 11am PST
I will be reading one of my books every weekday, and talking about some of the things that went into making it.
We are all at home, but none of us are alone.
Let’s be bored together.
