Swansea City have a "clear plan" to achieve their ultimate goal of reaching the Premier League, according to Swans Trust supporter director Paul Meller ⚽

@JacksSwansea Because he has only been here for little over 6 months and the downfall of the club has been from 10+ years… nobody would have been able to turn things around in the timeframe he has been here. A lot more goes on in a football club than meets the eye

Swansea fans need to wake up to reality.
I get that losing Graham Potter was painful because they dared to dream of the Rodgers and Laudrup days again.
But Steve Cooper was never fully appreciated in that job despite two play-off finishes because the style wasn't as pleasing as Potter.
Then Russell Martin was never fully appreciated despite 4 piss-take wins over Cardiff because the other results weren't at Cooper's level.
In both cases, the jury was always out.
In Martin's case, you always sensed they were itching to get angry but those wins over Cardiff were timely and kept the simmering negativity at bay.
Now Michael Duff is being hounded out after 7 matches and there's this sudden nostalgia around Martin.
If it's a cultural issue, fine. Maybe Duff was a bad appointment, the club have mis-read the situation and made a mistake.
But I don't think this is about 'The Swansea Way'.
To me, this is a fanbase in existential crisis because they were spoilt in the early 2010s and now their expectations are all out of whack.
Someone has to bear the brunt of the cumulative frustration that has built up since Potter departed. Sadly it's Duff, and it's not nice to see.
The early evidence on the pitch might be alarming but totally understandable with the transition. He's nothing like the mug they're making him out to be.
His latest comments are those of a man who already knows he's on a hiding to nothing.
All happening at Swans Companies House today.
Siân leaves as SD. Paul Meller takes over. Hopefully he says something publicly at some point.
But who is Todd Marcelle? Looks like another one taking a tilt at the roulette wheel, presumably to the benefit of the LLC.
@scfcoli Wish Swans fans would give a manager a chance, no wonder managers want to leave. We have a toxic fan base that constantly ridicules them for the smallest things
As the season opener is upon us, here’s a look towards our September fixtures for all three of our teams. Good Luck to all involved and go well today!
