@Bama_Hammer You’re using the predictive Sagarin SOS, not the résumé metrics the CFP actually looks at.
They use SOR, KPI & Game Control, and ND ranks higher than Bama in all of them.
I went to Cornell, so if predictive vs résumé is confusing, it’s ok. Just focus on Auburn!
@Bama_Hammer CFP metrics ≠ AP Top 25.
ND is top-5 SOS in both ESPN FPI & Sagarin.
They also have 3 wins over teams ranked in FPI/SP+ Top 30, the metrics the committee literally shows on screen every week. Bama has 1.
That’s why ND grades higher. It’s not complicated.
@PortCityTider@JordanPalmer333 Raw yards which we have heard about over and over are cute but efficiency wins games. Morris is generating more EPA/dropback without a top-10 roster around him. That’s what “veteran QB play” actually looks like.
@SSN_Alabama Blessing in disguise that YouTube TV went down — now I don’t have to watch the broadcast drool over Ty Simpson like he’s Joe Burrow when he’s really just another Bama system QB running Nick Saban’s 37th clone offense.
@NPerkins96 Interesting. I think he’s an excellent player, if it wasn’t for that gimmicky offense over in Knoxville he would have been able to show his true potential. Incredibly lucky win over Alabama who didn’t play like the real UA team and a complete exposure against UGA. Not a fan
@barstoolsports Looks like the gimmicky offense really hit a weak spot for the Tennessee fans. A renaissance man like myself cannot keep up with the ineptitude from the UT fanbase. I have yet to travel to that region of the south and now know I do not need too.
@barstoolsports Good. Nothing wrong with a couple beverages at a tailgate, however alcohol sales inside stadiums are proving to be disastrous. When it comes to Tennessee they should have post game beverage sales to help cope with the disappointment and to help forget about their gimmicky offense
