First Amendment auditors with FRICN Media were recording from a public sidewalk near a Kent County Sheriff’s facility when Deputy Atkinson confronted them over their tone. He then snatched the camera and wouldn't give it back.
Other deputies stepped in, the camera was eventually returned, and the auditor went to file a complaint.
Recording police in public is protected activity.
No arrest.
❓Should anyone have been arrested based on what you saw?
❓What should happen when a deputy doesn’t like your tone—and takes your camera for it?
❓Why would Deputy Atkinson have thought he could treat a citizen’s property like it was his to confiscate on a whim?

I don't know what started this but if he works there and there forcible grabbing him this is Physical harassment and a law suit it should be reported to the his supervisor first and if nothing happens then the lawyer
Michael Beasley CRASHED OUT on Patrick Beverly and claimed that he’s the BETTER basketball player after Pat told him that he scored more points than him when they were on the same team 🤣🤣👀
“I was the leading scorer on your team”
“Time out… I was 17 on that team. You was supposed to get more minutes than me. Shut up… I was the number 1 player in the country… 37 years on this earth, there’s NEVER been a day when you can f*ck with me… You’re too short, and you’re too slow, and you’re too WEAK… You can have the best day ever, I can have the worst, and you’re gonna lose. You’ve never been Michael Beasley… I will BUST your a** n*gga.”
THIS IS HILARIOUS!!!
Wife takes the “Can You Survive as a Man?” test and the urinal quiz almost broke her!
She’s sitting there all confident until the urinal question drops. Starts strong, picks the far one, then spirals into a full mental breakdown calculating who’s gayer and whether she should just walk out. The second the husband points out the entrance/exit rule she finally gets it… after talking herself in circles for a solid minute. Every guy watching already knew the answer in half a second.
Then KD comes up. She goes “kill drive.” Close, but no cigar. Kill/Death ratio. The sacred number every man who’s ever touched a controller has tattooed on his soul.
The public threat assessment question was perfect. When another couple walks by, the correct answer isn’t checking the girl out or living in your own bubble. It’s quietly calculating how much work it would take to put the guy down if he ever became a problem. She nailed that one. Same with the booth seat facing the door. Instant correct. No hesitation.
Only real miss was “flank.” She thought it meant crouch-walking. Nah. You go around, get behind them, and ruin their day. Simple.
These quizzes are gold because they expose the invisible operating system most women never realize is running in the background.
She’s getting better. Still not fluent, but the lightbulbs are starting to click.
Good stuff.
Ignorant officer results throwing insults when his ego gets crushed because he didn't know the law. Lawsuit incoming.
When a police officer initiates a traffic stop without even understanding the statutory vehicle codes they are attempting to enforce, things will fall apart fast.
Officer Jesus Aguilar initiated what turned out to be an unlawful traffic stop on commercial driver Michael Jarrett. The sole stated reason for pulling Jarrett over was an alleged missing rear license plate. However, Jarrett immediately pushed back, pointing out that his commercial vehicle is registered out of Indiana and frequently hauls a trailer. This means under the applicable registration statutes, only one plate is provided for the front.
Instead of knowing the law or verifying the registration requirements before escalating the stop and demanding Jarrett's driver's license, Officer Aguilar doubled down. When Jarrett experienced medical distress from COPD during the confrontation and had to retrieve his inhaler, the officer didn't maintain composure or de-escalate the situation.
Instead, he began hurling petty personal insults, mocking the driver's health, breathing, weight, and stature, telling him he was "too big," "too heavy," and "too short and overweight" to be acting agitated.
It wasn't until Officer Aguilar retreated to his squad car and called a colleague to ask basic questions about out-of-state plate requirements that he finally realized Jarrett had broken no laws whatsoever. Just rediculos to me that this law enforcement officer, just tried to enforce a law he didn't even know or understand. Then when realizing he was wrong, he doubles down on his terrible behavior and attitude.
With zero legal basis remaining to detain him, the officer was forced to admit Jarrett was clear and let him go, leaving behind clear bodycam evidence of an unfounded stop, egregious conduct, and zero accountability.
We will circle back to this one once we have lawsuit info as you can bet Micheal will file one.
