@RadioMoser This officiating style favors chaos and chaos favors defense. In this sort of game the team with the more disruptive defense wins every time. The CFB national championship was like this too.
@VicLombardi@nuggets But why are the Nuggets playing so poorly. Defense wins championships. One reason is that loose officiating favors chaos and chaos favors defense. In a game being called like this one is, the team with the more disruptive defense will win every time.
@PatMcAfeeShow@KirkHerbstreit 1) DeBoer’s game plan too different from what UW did well all year. I see why he would do that, it didn’t work. 2) Refs called a loose game. A “let ‘em play” approach favors chaos and disruption, which worked well for UM’s style.
Oh, and it wasn’t Penix’s best game either.
@frankjnovak @kylekeefetv That is the correct question, but I think Eberle’s check would go along a different line of logic than Makar’s. A violent boarding infraction is its own issue, even with the puck in play.
@citchmook The explanation we’ve gotten doesn’t hold water. Would be repulsive behavior for sure, but doesn’t explain his being totally unlocatable and probably doesn’t explain why he’s missing games. There is something more.
@jonrobb89 @Peter_Baugh Because to say "Valeri has had a family tragedy, please respect his privacy" would be easy, not controversial, and obviously the right thing to do that would also end the conversation. If that were the situation they would have said so.
@KritHouse2021@Peter_Baugh I agree but how bad must it be to pull him out of the lineup versus babysitting him off duty. He’s not in jail so he must have entered rehab, which would explain why he’s been impossible to find.
@MikeEvans1043 You’re arguing the wrong point, Mike. KC was probably the better team and they won. If they’d lost the toss, 65% chance they’re on the couch this week. We need rules that result in the 2 best, not luckiest, teams end up in the Super Bowl.
@MikeEvans1043 KC could also say it was their bad to allow the game to go OT at all. But if you consider the OT rule in isolation beyond context of any game in particular, it’s unlikely to result in the better team winning as much as the team who wins the toss. Therefore should be changed.
@IAmRonnieD@AppliedTheology@mikeklis I think if you hold a guy in role because his performance was abysmal but it’s too early to fire him, then he returns another abysmal year, the performance becomes your problem.
@MikeEvans1043 But now the Broncos compete with ~6 other teams for those guys. Should have let Fangio go last week IMO. Behavior suggests Fangio would have kept his job if the Broncos had beaten the Chiefs. If that’s not the case, there was no point keeping him.
@united We are boarded and it seems we will depart on time. However, the fact that the gate agent successfully intimidated passengers into submission by threatening a flight delay does not justify the behavior.
@UnitedAirlines at CHS-DEN awaiting flight 5960. Oversold. Gate agent just threatened passengers that flight will not board and will be delayed unless/until enough volunteers come forward to take later flight. Unacceptable. Do not make your overbooking policy into our problem.
