@Banx_Leaf It’s just because the salary cap really spiked- so everyone, including the best teams, have room to make these moves… once salaries catch up to the increases parity will return because if a guy wants to get paid- he’ll be limited to the teams that have the space.
@bigredoak1975@JoshYohe_PGH Would have been interesting for sure, but are they able to find another Dumoulin? He was such a huge part of those 16’ and 17’ teams. The rock the blue line needed.
@samwellsg@DotComParker I’m not a Pokémon guy, but the same thing as a high value Sports Card… nothing really, hope some day someone is dumber than you and pays an even higher price for a piece of card stock.
@DannyShireyPGH Larkin is a fit for somewhat established young teams looked to put themselves over the top (Montreal, Anaheim, SAN Jose) … I agree, Pittsburgh should not be looking to acquire a high end player any older than 26. They need a guy who still has 8-10 prime-ish years left.
@DomDiTommaso I agree. I understand and agree from a hockey perspective- right move… but had a travelled to Pitt, put out money on a hotel and tickets to watch WBS… I’d be fuming.
@StoneColdSid I imagine Silovs sees one game of next weekends back to back and that is likely it. I’d think if Skinner goes down they give Murashov a shot..
