@jwesleydonehue I agree with some of what you said. We need to evaluate our infrastructure, analyze our educational system, and assess our healthcare disaster in this state. I am waiting to see who is going to create a plan on strengthening our state, not say the right soundbite!
NEW LAW/NEXT MONDAY!
Beginning September 1, 2025, South Carolina’s Hand-Free Driving Act will go into effect.
This new law prohibits drivers from using mobile electronic devices while operating a motor vehicle in the following ways:
Holding or supporting a mobile device with any part of their body.*
*This does not prohibit the use of an earpiece or device worn on the wrist used for voice-based communication.
Using a mobile device to read, compose, or transmit texts, emails, app interactions, or website information.
Watching motion including a video, movie, game or video call on a mobile electronic device.
South Carolina law enforcement shall only issue warnings for violations of the hands-free law for the first 180 days after the law goes into effect. Violations of this law may result in a fine and points against your driver’s license.

The signs are up! I pulled into the grass on I95 to take this pick! We are "real" in SC now! I had a tearful moment when I saw it driving home from the Capitol after the signing it into law. #itwasworthit#doitfordale#handsfreesc
@DOGE@DrOzCMS@CMSGov Look at clinical trials coverage. MAP are notoriously denying payment. Patients are held hostage for Caregory B IDE trials that should be reimbursed. It's reversed as to what it should be!
@JeremyRenner I am listening to it on Audible now. You have artfully told your story that is touching and gut wrenching at times! Thabk you for your true self reliving it. My husband was killed in a cycling accident and the accident recount was a hard listen!
B-R-E-A-K-I-N-G: The SC Senate just voted unanimous approval of the HANDS FREE cell phone bill for drivers (Eyes Up, Phone Down). They amended the bill to speed up enforcement — once it is signed into law there will be a 6 month education and warning period starting Sept. 1.
