@Ryan_Posselt You read this report, ignored it in the chamber then publicly accused professional engineers (by clear implication) of failing “basic risk management”. When they have actually addressed these matters exactly.
@Ryan_Posselt What an absolute liar you are. As was outlined in the report (written by Pitt and Sherry) - there was no need to go to the expense of dilapidation surveys for those buildings. As was clearly outlined in the report, the bridge is more than 100m away (& aquatic centre further).
@Ryan_Posselt Should probably say thanks for posting this-all fairly sensible motions, and even though you can’t win them all-failed motions look respectable in retrospect. For full disclosure-this analysis for myself and cr Kitsos should note our more limited time in this term of council.
@puppyeh1 I do wonder given the on market buying if a new contract is actually likely in the near term. Given its importance this would be being monitored by the board and (presumably) if there’s anything close to a renegotiation then the BoD wouldn’t be able to trade on market.
@kevinbonham Interestingly the greens might decide they can get more of their policies through a parliament (wins in legislation) with a labor opposition looking for ways to frustrate the government + friendly crossbench-the ongoing prospect of a noco would be a very big risk to a lib gov.
@kevinbonham Interestingly this is the second time Cr Posselt has raised this issue (fwiw I have no idea who has been suspended). Last time I pointed out that it could probably be inferred if we still had regular expense reporting…he then deleted his tweet.
@trentonjhoare This is the second time Cr Posselt has publicly raised this issue. Last time I responded and pointed out the lack of regular expense reporting which could presumably be used to identify this. He then deleted his post:
@nick_coatsworth Worth reading the manufacturers responses too. Definitely would appear some inconsistent results based on (what would appear legitimate) alternative testing. I know an Australian zinc company has written to the TGA alerting them to inferior zinc being imported into Aus before
#politas clearly Labor didn’t think through the optics. Rockliff knocked back a recommended 22% pay rise for politicians-Labor then launched a no co in the premier…
@kevinbonham No doubt her first action as an MP will be to visit her strongest supporting part of the electorate (that in all likelihood she’s never bean(!) too)
@DarMurp All good - happens all the time (fyi it’s the much more rare Scottish spelling / middle name is Stewart, again the Scottish spelling). Family originally from Dundee
