This afternoon, I had the honour of speaking with the @chiefrabbi to express my deepest sympathy to the victims and their families, and to Britain’s wider Jewish community, who have understandably been deeply shaken by this appalling act of terror in Manchester.

We are witnessing record levels of antisemitism in the UK. The tolerance of the intolerable must end. Far more must be done to protect Jewish families, support our police in this vital task, and confront the hatred that has taken root in our country.

I assured the Chief Rabbi that I will always stand proudly with our Jewish community. My resolve will never waver.
