@ToddWitteles@bp22 Thesis is that your kids need the money the most in their 20’s and 30’s. Why wait until you die to give them a big inheritance when they’re in their 50’s or 60’s when it’s not as valuable to them? Obviously much more to the book…one of my favorites.

There’s a difference between being disciplined and being paralyzed. Right now the Chargers look less like a team executing a strategy and more like someone clutching their wallet in a room full of opportunity.
Having a pile of money but being too scared to use it is like owning a Ferrari and only driving it in a school zone.
At some point that’s not discipline — it’s fear.

Not every story like that is “sad.” I love gambling and everything about it. I view those losses as paying for entertainment just like some folks shop, go skiing, buy expensive cars.
