@Ryan_Parkerrr@gaby_kantor What are trying to save? The agenda to take the country back to the 1950s when only white Christian men had rights? You should probably leave now. Because even if Dems fail to take back democracy, no one is bending over for you morally corrupt a-holes any more than we are now.
@YouSeeTash@niki_smith1 and to still keep beating the Eva slept with Tomas drum is so ridiculous, I sometimes wonder if they listen to themselves. Both Tomas and Eva had feelings for each other AND thought it was over with Kat. Plus Kat rejected her as a sister. Facts.
@EdHallOLTL@niki_smith1 Kat is a spoiled, classist brat, raised by a loving, prosperous family. Her own family nicely notes this consistently. Eva is a warm and sensitive woman, raised by a total narcissist. But Eva is the evil one. 🙄I don’t get it. I hope to never get it.
@Kitobear13@niki_smith1 Of course Eva is insecure. Look at who raised her. And yet she is a loving, caring woman. Kat, on the other hand, was raised by a loving family and has said classist shit to or in from of them. Almost her whole family has called “Princess” Kat out on that nonsense.
@Kitobear13@niki_smith1 Her mama hurt Laura without her prior knowledge, she slept ONCE with a man she wanted who she thought had broken up from a sister who didn’t claim her, and unlike entitled, classist witch Kat, she’s good to people, not just other Duprees. But sure, she’s evil. lol.
@niki_smith1 White villain after white villain is on a show, people merely complain about their dirty deeds. And don’t be a white male gangster - then you become a fan favorite. Leslie has actually down LESS bad shit than the average villain.
@niki_smith1 Thank you.
Increasingly, it’s clear that a lot of the hate against Leslie is based in racism, and that includes by Black people. Complaining about her is one thing but I’ve never seen so many people argue for the main villain to not be on a show or to claim she ruins show.
@whiteryan30@niki_smith1 You’re tripping. You think a soap isn’t supposed to have a villain? And sure she’s getting the show cancelled after they have just renewed it for 2 years. 🙄If you’re that fed up by one character, you’re not contractually or legally required to keep watching the show.
@Kemy_87@niki_smith1@KemKem26 We are looking forward to the shenanigans of Leslie trying to get into the fundraiser. It makes perfect sense to what drives the character.
(See how the misplaced use of the word “we” works?)
@Kitobear13@niki_smith1 She hid a f’ing helmet. There’s no redemption arc needed, therefore there’s no redemption arc taking place. Just a character existing. Because under your reasoning, does Kat need a redemption for breaking into two places to plant evidence?
@johnson343383@niki_smith1 There is no core four. That’s a fallacy. There’s not one show in the history of the genre that has revolved around even one family. BTG does that more than most and I personally find that irritating. Because you know what’s also not a plot? Vernon’s constant fawning over Anita.
@niki_smith1@ZenJustice Folks who think this don’t know how soaps work. There is no such thing as a “core four” and there never will be on a soap. The Duprees are central to the show but not just the ones on the poster. Even the soap Ryan’s Hope wasn’t just about the Ryan family.
