Aliyev says Azerbaijanis must return to Armenia, "their historical lands." He says Tsarist Russia settled Armenians in the South Caucasus, thus denying that they're indigenous.

Aliyev is implicitly referencing the "Western Azerbaijan" project here, and it's happening more and more as "peace" draws nearer.

This is two years after AZ ethnically cleansed the entire Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh, promising that they'd have the "right of return"--a promise that has been abandoned by both sides.

@MinPres Dit is echt wel ingewikkeld. Hier had ik graag een rode lijn gezien. Nog gesproken over de illegale POW die maar niet vrijkomen? Over de vernietiging van cultureel erfgoed en de etnische zuivering van 2023 in Nagorno Karabakh? Of de dreigende taal over zgn west Azerbeidzjan?
