@homeownerb0ner Alan doesn’t respond for a while, keeping his eyes closed. Despite the warnings he’s gotten, dangers he’s faced— nothing will ever change his mind. That he belongs out here. Alan is sure it will be where he dies,+

“I think theres still a good amount of food in the pantry.”

@homeownerb0ner Assuming they’re just hauled up in their room all the time, that’s probably not helping. More the reason he hears people call them Hermit. “Maybe you need to do something different, then.”

@homeownerb0ner One star on the Little Dipper looks like it’s going out. It’s one of the few clusters that almost everyone knows about. Alan wonders how many constellations are left null due to the cataclysm. He hopes it’s not many.

“That makes sense.” Alan never sees Homeowner around anymore.+

Alan feels like the stars are burning out quicker, he thinks theres not as many as the last time he was out.

@PIgiograves Drowned out by all the noise, it feels like kindness is a virtue nobody keeps in these conditions. He is very grateful to be reminded.

Alan stands to return his mug to the sink and toss the tea bag away. After picking up his cane he figures this is an adaquate moment to depart+

“Do you,, I mean, are you okay?”

“I do. I was really into astrology as a kid.”

“Oh, it is.”
