@maklelan The law comes from the Hammurabi law code. Do you think its if any profundity that Jesus was well aware that this law did not originate from God? No Jew questioned that in his day, but somehow he knew? "You have heard it was said...but I say..." Read the Nevi'im and NT prophets.
@maklelan You dont even believe that the Torah is from God.
If someone were to follow Jesus' teachings of selfless love, they would not support slavery. That is exactly what we see.
@seethroughit2 Jesus is the son of man prophesied in Daniel 7:13-14 who is worshipped by people from all nations and languages. He is the messiah (anointed one) who is executed in Daniel 9.
@raedawlakey@AEnjoyer447201@officer_Lew Thats not a cross tattoo. Why are muslims the most coping and lying group of people. Its sad. Thats a scales of justice tat, and of course muslims get tattoos and drink alcohol. The top dawah guys get caught w prostitutes, weed, booze. Ain't no way you can see a cross necklace.
@maximumpain333 How about you delete this false meme? Fact check these points and you will see for yourself. No point in slandering Jesus is there? Even if you dont believe in him?
@strikeharderpag@RagingNY@muslimorthodoxy Marriage in Heaven is not like marriage on Earth. It is meant to be an everlasting relationship. Also in the Quran it says that in Heaven you get a bunch of servants who serve you wine and are eternally young. Now why would them being eternally young be important? Sick religion.
@maklelan "There was darkness over all the land". It is possible that during the time of the crucifixion it was particulary cloudy out, and the gospel authors interpreted something spiritual about said darkness.
@primedetailoc@CapturingChrist Not only have there not been any major excavations of the Sinai, we know that other large groups (armies in this case) have tread over the Sinai and not left any archeological evidence.
I just don't understand why such a modest claim like traveling from Egyptian slavery is hard
@primedetailoc@CapturingChrist The prophecy about Tyre says its about the mainland city, which was destroyed.
I have no reason to doubt that a group of Hebrew YHWHists migrated out of Egyptian slavery.
@maklelan No not every thing in the bible is true, nor is that an issue. Some books dont belong in the bible such as Song of Solomon. Its a completely irrelevant poem but its in there because its historical.
@Jarmarillo42@maklelan@LifeNewsHQ Involuntary manslaughter involves killing someone. What do you even mean by "either case would be involuntary manslaughter". And it's not clear if the punishment is "worse". The man has to pay as the judges determine, which reinforces that there is nuance within the curcumstance
@Jarmarillo42@maklelan@LifeNewsHQ You're still avoiding the rest of what I said. Is unintentionally causing a woman to miscarry and killing her baby murder? Yes or no. The answer is no, its involuntary manslaughter. Then the person should not be charged with murder..
@Jarmarillo42@maklelan@LifeNewsHQ And I can only assume why you avoided adressing my other point..
Its not foreseeable because its not always obvious a woman is pregnant or whether the injury could possibly cause a misscarriage..
@Jarmarillo42@maklelan@LifeNewsHQ That doesnt then imply that abortion isnt murder. All that this means is that accidently causing a woman to miscarry is involuntary manslaughter. Which it is. Consciously aborting a fetus is murder.
@Jarmarillo42@maklelan@LifeNewsHQ The man shouldnt be killed for accidently causing a woman to miscarry. If he causes other physical harm to the woman thats on him. Causing harm to the woman was a foreseeable consequence. Causing harm to a baby was not.
