@GovPritzker@JBPritzker
— stop obsessing over @POTUS and start doing something about the ridiculous taxes in Illinois.
$30 in taxes on a cell phone bill is insane. Illinois families are tired of being the state’s ATM!!!
This is the norm today for Chicago Police.
A call comes, officers respond, and they are met with hostility.
Here, a group of teens and young adults fight with CPD and throw traffic cones and a cooler at officers.
The lesson here is: When you vote progressives into office, the result is ALWAYS chaos.
This isn't leadership, it's pure propaganda.
.@GovPritzker has governed with arrogance, intimidation, coercion, and the advantages of inherited wealth; with zero humility, humanity, or respect for public service.
My daughter Katie should still be alive today.
Katie's death is one of the tragic consequences of an administration that repeatedly put ideology ahead of public safety.
Instead of confronting those consequences, this administration congratulates itself and demands applause.
Anyone who honestly believes Illinois is better off today than when @GovPritzker took office either hasn't been paying attention or is viewing the state through a purely ideological or partisan lens.
.@GovPritzker, for more than eight hours you sat in the same committee hearing room as me and never once uttered Katie's name.
When my family needed compassion, we found silence.
When we sought accountability, we found indifference.
Illinoisans, don't let anyone convince you your voice doesn't matter. Even against inherited wealth, ballot operations and a powerful political machine, the next election is your chance to demand accountability.
Make not enough, more than enough!
@GovPritzker say her name. Katie.
This pancake company in Illinois is getting canceled by leftists because they celebrated America’s 250th
Definitely support Judy’s Family Cafe if you can!
.@SecDuffy, after my daughter Katie was killed by an intoxicated illegal immigrant holding an Illinois driver's license, I began asking questions about Illinois' licensing and verification practices.
I hope you'll examine those practices under @GovPritzker and @Giannoulias so Illinois families can have confidence that appropriate safeguards are in place.
Good grief. He's so full of himself. The founder's would be appalled at every one of your policies- abortion, Trans BS, tax breaks for CCP-backed Gotion, the BUILD Act, massive redistribution of people's wealth to NGOs and grifters, and so much more.
.@GovPritzker, spare us your fraudulent patriotic slogans.
They ring hollow coming from a governor whose policies put politics ahead of the safety of Illinois families.
Katie was 20 years old. She should be celebrating Independence Day with our family. Instead, she's gone because your "welcoming" and sanctuary policies put politics ahead of public safety.
The first promise of government is to protect its own citizens. You failed.
So, before lecturing America about its promise, answer for the families whose lives your policies have forever changed.
@ChicagosMayor Its ok @ChicagosMayor we know it's a holiday weekend and your newest violence interruptor will be back home by Tuesday. You're a useless retard along with that ozempic addict @GovPritzker
The 78° thermostat controversy was never really about thermostats.
It's about blind loyalty to party and ideology.
CNN and Abby Phillip will rationalize almost any contradiction if it's politically convenient.
That's activism, not journalism, and it deserves to be exposed.
Do they even recognize the contradiction? Do they have any credibility left?
It's the same selective, hierarchical compassion Katie—and countless other innocent victims of illegal immigration, encountered after she was killed.
The narrative is defended.
The victims are forgotten.
The irony is breathtaking.
.@GovPritzker questioning someone else's mental state while showing zero self-awareness about your own record.
My daughter Katie was killed in Illinois by a previously deported illegal immigrant who reentered this country illegally, had no business being here, and was protected by the "welcoming" and expanded sanctuary policies you championed and defend to this day.
Then he drove nearly 80 mph while intoxicated and slammed into a car stopped at a red light, ending Katie's life at just 20 years old along with another woman.
That wasn't an unavoidable tragedy.
It was the foreseeable consequence of reckless policies that put ideology ahead of public safety.
No wisdom
No humility
No Judgement
No leadership
Illinois deserves accountability, not projection.
Look in the mirror.
It's not just CDLs.
Driver's licenses are also putting reckless illegal immigrants on our roads.
All Katie did was sit in a car stopped at a red light. She was barreled into at nearly 80 mph by an intoxicated, previously deported illegal immigrant who had used aliases and false documents, couldn't communicate in English or Spanish, yet was issued an Illinois driver's license under @Giannoulias' watch.
Two young women were killed.
So, please be careful on the streets of @Giannoulias' Illinois the politician who brands himself an athlete. Meanwhile Katie, a real young athlete with her whole life ahead of her, never made it home from Urbana.
Illinois still refuses to explain how this happened or make meaningful changes. Families do everything they can to teach their children to drive safely, yet government failures can erase those efforts in an instant.
This is a scandal. @GovPritzker and @Giannoulias owe the people of Illinois answers.
@TheJusticeDept@SecDuffy, please come to Illinois.
