#SouthernAfrica and @SobAlertrt appreciate you for reducing #alcoholharm.
We were launching some new vintages of @DeWetshofWines Chardonnay when @drizzleanddip insisted on being seen in close proximity to shades by @TOMFORD. I obliged.
Loire elegance, in fact I have yet to come across any other South African Cabernet Franc with such airy profile, yet finely structure like a beautifully mature Bordeaux kind of tannins grip, oak is present and supportive, so pure with subtle tobacco, preserve black olives

Sauce: onion, garlic, white wine, beef-stock, red wine vinegar, chilli, Worcestershire, bay-leaf. Flour to thicken. Simmer until it tastes lekker. Braise rump-steak cubes on volcanic heat for 2 mins. Add to sauce, cook 20 mins. Gooi!
Drink these with confidence. @Stellenrust proved itself a master of Chenin Blanc with a record win @CheninBlancSA Top 10 Challenge earlier this year. No reason not to place an order right now.
🥂 Front-page news on @BusinessLiveSA! Global champagne shortage is a silver lining for SA's Cap Classique producers. With champagne scarce, local bubbles take the spotlight. Cheers to SA's Cap Classique excellence! 🍾 @ThabisoMochiko@SA_Wine
What a year of white wines this has been. A mesmerising 50yr old Riesling absolutely singing...vivid ripe Kakamas peach and quince; sultry Seville citrus; brush of nutmeg, riveting rush of alert acidity. Thanks @joaquimsa and @WineChamonix. And @daniedewet for the insights.
Same wine - @WineChamonix Chardonnay 2022 6mths under 3 different @amorim_za corks. XPure conglomerate, Twin-Top and Natural. Wine develops totally differently with conglomerate tight, bright and Natural broad, complex with pronounced fruit.
