According to @HallieJackson on MSNBC, the White House is telling reporters that Trump’s slanderous mocking of a sexual assault survivor was the turning point for getting Kavanaugh confirmed, by stoking white male resentment of women.

But that temperament is partially what got Trump elected. His base likes the anger and mocking. And I think now, that they planned that for Kavanaugh. And he delivered. No judge would think that would be the right way to act. And it speaks to how beholden he is to Trump Russia.
