This 2pt play by Detroit was a disaster regardless of 68 reporting or not.

First, as the Head Referee stated below, 70 is covered despite reporting. As such, he creates an illegal formation on this play.

In addition, either 68 is covered on the left side to have 7 on the line, or he is uncovered, leaving just 6 on the line (which would be too few). One way or the other, there is a foul there, too.

We’re all focused on 68 reporting/not reporting, but there are at least two other formation-based fouls on the play regardless of that aspect of the play. While the @Lions could be upset about that reporting issue, this play never was going to be acceptable based on how the players lined up with respect to the LoS & 70 reporting. @D3FBHuddle
