@cmuratori The stealing analogy is kinda flawed. Nothing is being stolen here as the original product is still available. Its copying (or "piracy") which is not morally reprehensible at all.

Im only paying because its convenient (easy access) to do so and I appreciate the authors work.

@KiwiiRob@BrettKPG Afaik he pledged his shares for a loan (see latest filings) so he has direct interest in short term movements of the share price. Some shares were even transferred so I believe its a margin call.
@GavMcCracken@Petro_Tal Buybacks are only value accretive if they happen when the company's shares are trading below their intrinsic value assuming no friction (fees, taxes). Only traders and idiots buy stocks above their intrinsic value so buyback=good. Also dividends are usually heavily taxed too.
