Berkshire Hathaway stock has been cut in half three different times. Warren Buffett says if a drop like that would push you out, you shouldn't own stocks at all.

in the clip below he explains why the price falling is not the real risk.

buy any stock, he says, and be ready to see it down 50 percent or more without flinching.

"there wasn't anything wrong with berkshire"

the business was fine all three times. the price just fell.

the danger was borrowed money. buy with half your own cash and half a loan, and a 50 percent drop leaves you with zero.

"if you owed it on borrowed money ... you could have been cleaned out"

fear hits some people much harder than others, he says. he compares it to a virus. he never felt it.

"if you can't handle it psychologically then you really shouldn't own stocks because you're going to buy and sell them at the wrong time"

could you sit through a 50 percent drop - or would you sell near the bottom?

@farmingandJesus The electoral college elects the president the others are not much different so I have never believed my vote counts
First we need more first hand information on all candidates not only what others say or think

His invitation has not expired: come, all who are weary, and find rest in a Person.

“We can’t find anyone who wants to work anymore.”

Meanwhile I walk into Walmart and see six closed checkout lanes, one cashier, and a line at self-checkout.

I applied there. Filled out the online application, did the AI questionnaire, did two interviews, and waited four weeks for a rejection.

Then I went back to the same store and saw the same six registers closed and the same “NOW HIRING” sign on the door.

So which is it?

Nobody wants to work, or nobody can get through the machine built to hire them?

[Holy Bible @EveryBibleday]

"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28 -

God wastes nothing — not even the season you wish you could skip.

Not seeing much use for AI
When you ask it or tell it something it just patronizes

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding." - Proverbs 3:5 -

Trust grows when you release what you cannot control into hands that can.
