@SoLInTheWild I taught MS for a brief time, lots of behavioral issues. VP called me out saying “what if it was your kid?” Told him don’t use that example, my kids would never do the things I saw daily and if they did , they wouldn’t see the light of day!

@LovedMyAlydar @HistorianUSA1 @CherokeeOwl I had a college student come into my classroom. Half the time he wouldn’t show up, no communication either! Said he had an IEP, I needed to accommodate him. Told him if he ever got a job, they don’t accommodate per an IEP. His eyes bugged out of his head!

@cutelipsxx It took payroll 17 pay periods to realize they screwed up , worked with my union, I had to pay back over the next 17 pay periods.

@TheConstantRead Didn’t want to waste any of the Precious 30 minutes walking to/from lounge. Also didn’t want to hear any “school” talk. Locked office door, lights off, sat in my heated massage chair and ate food I know would make a mess in the dark! Complete recharge for the rest of the day!

@SchuckFarms In my district you could choose 21 or 26 paychecks, personal choice, either save through out the year or get summer checks. School got out June 19, starts Aug.24th. Definitely not 3 months.

@jenteach13 Yes, she was the best, we even shared the same birthday!! She was a veteran 5th grade teacher, I was PE, we just clicked. It was great just having someone to talk to about so many school related things.

@educator4ever36 I had to go into every classroom to teach. My favorite was a teacher who used neutrals with sage green. Burlap covered bulletin boards, dimmed lighting, plants. Very peaceful and calm, as were the students!!!
