I have no problem with Canada being criticized for operating residential schools that stripped the language and culture from FN children. I have a huge problem with FN and govt. officials telling Canadians that we killed FN children and buried them in residential school yards.
This has to stop.
Residential schools happened. Children were taken. Abuse was real. The RCMP’s own B.C. file charged people. Documented deaths were mostly disease. That is the record.
Kamloops in 2021 was ground-penetrating radar. Anomalies. Not bodies. Five years later: no excavation, no confirmed graves on that orchard. Asking for a shovel is not hate.
The clause they keep pushing would make it a crime to “deny, downplay, justify or misrepresent facts.” That last part is the lock. If the fact has not been dug up, the question becomes the offence.
Senate voted the C-9 add-on down in June. They are still coming back with it. You do not get to jail people for pointing at an empty hole.
Truth can stand a shovel. A law that cannot is not truth.
Kitchen table first.

@ElizabethMay Where’s the bones? The Liberals ran a whole election campaign on “bones” - do you have bones? Where are the bones? Where’s our $13 million dollars used to find the bones ?
BREAKING: Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs 'disappointed' by premier Wab Kinew’s comments on First Nations checkpoint; unclear why he isn’t ’sticking it’ to the colonials at every turn, as per their agreement to endorse him

Earlier this year, the Globe & Mail editorial board (finally) admitted that those 215 unmarked graves in Kamloops don’t exist. The CBC admitted the same thing in 2025. The National Post in 2022. Which of those journalists do you plan on sending to jail? All of them?
@CTVVancouver Nope. Stop gaslighting people. We raised our flags half mast for a year. All because of a fake political story by the @liberal_party to win an election.
Enough is enough, I strongly encourage @CTVNationalNews to govern themselves extremely careful with this one. #gotbones ?
