A great evening hearing from a number of planning professionals about how their work place advocates and encourages agile and flexible working #womeninplanning @DeloitteUK_RE @CamdenCouncil @GrosvenorGRP @StModwen
It was great to discuss retirement living with an audience of women planners. Really engaged and some thought provoking questions! @savills@WomeninPlanning
Co-living type accommodation for retirement communities? Would this work or will older people have a preference for private facilities I.e gardens etc #retirementliving#retirementplanning
Wishes for things to improve: clear definitions, consumer protection, better understanding of the products available for both planning& tenants, greater resources in LPAs, clear planning policies, greater education &acceptance from LPAs that this type of accommodation is required
Honor sharing the Cambridge study with students and older people living together and shown higher health benefits. But how will we deal with this type of accommodation in planning with the rigid use classes? #retirementliving#retirementplanning
Difference for overseas examples including NZ and AUS is that there are specific older people policies at a national level. #retirementplanning#retirementliving
