If you plan on seeing @FirstManMovie because you think Neil Armstrong is awesome, NASA is neat, and space exploration is super cool, then you might be interested in this picture book that I wrote about the 1st moon landing. 😊🚀🌑 #FirstMan#Apollo11#MoonLanding
@MarindaVannoy1 All of you people saying that you've never heard of Bad Bunny are admitting that you live in a media bubble. Try paying a little more attention. He's massively popular. I don't listen to his music, but still know who he is simply by being aware of the world around me.
I really need Democratic lawmakers to understand that we're fed up with them simply posting on social media "this has to stop" without calling for specific actions to make it stop.
We know this needs to stop. We elected you. Tell us what needs to be done to make it stop.
@matt_vanswol Maybe instead of rage baiting on the internet you could try doing some basic research. Contact the police department and ask about their classification system. Consult an anthropologist to learn about race and ethnicity. Read and reflect on the explanations that have been given.
Moore: When we watch the commander-in-chief speak, he’s actually adding confusion to an already very confusing situation.
It’s not just that Donald Trump doesn’t seem interested in actually knowing the details. He doesn’t seem interested in having a clear thesis to work toward — except, perhaps, “I want to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
What really concerns me is who he has around him that are allowing him to say these things. Who does he have around him that isn’t educating him?
I take real pride that when I look at my team — my cabinet, my agency heads — these are subject matter experts.. I always want to be around people who are educating me, who are helping me think differently about an issue.
Donald Trump doesn’t have that. He has sycophants who go into cabinet meetings and spend three and a half hours telling him how good he is instead of actually educating him on the issues.
@SenThomTillis Dude, you've given Trump free reign to do whatever the hell he wants, with no consequences. You don't get to whine on social media if you don't like his choices. It's literally your job to do something about it, so maybe try that?
@thegayconserva3 @truthmoresocial@krassenstein "A process" is not the same as "due process". If an investigation was carried out and the U.S. govt had evidence of trafficking, then the next step is to apprehend the those involved, impound the supposed boat full of drugs, and let the courts decide an appropriate punishment.
@matt_vanswol I get why the knee-jerk reaction is to think this is a bad and discriminatory thing, but perhaps do some research on systemic racism, generational wealth, and ongoing inequities so that you have a better understanding of why reparations are needed.
@EFisherWX The way I just gasped. I knew this was coming soon, but was afraid to get my hopes up too much. This makes me so happy (and makes me want to call off work today, but I won't).
@LeighCl68689106@GovPressOffice Doesn't matter. Rich people spending absurd amounts of money on unnecessary items, while the hardworking people whose labor they exploit struggle to put food on the table is gross.
@Rep_McBride lol to all of people who don't realize that their childish negative comments still count as interactions, thereby boosting the reach of this post. 😅 And weird that they're more worried about someone's gender than the current lack of both congressional and public oversight.
@kevinryanmedia@mikey_shriver Do you seriously not understand that you are blaming the girls for their actions but excusing the men's actions? You know it's possible that both people made bad decisions, right? Because it really seems like you're saying that what the men did was ok, and it was definitely not.
@QueenBeeIcarius@PatriotRose36@mtjohnson51 @matt_vanswol That's fantastic. Kudos to Josh Stein for putting that plan together, and to HUD for approving it. But where is the money coming from for the other $58 billion in damages? FEMA declined further aid.
@PatriotRose36@mtjohnson51 @matt_vanswol Trump visited Asheville at the end of January when cleanup had already been happening for months. He promised we would not be forgotten, but then recently denied desperately needed aid.
And that $750 from FEMA was a baseline MINIMUM, not the maximum. People could apply for more.
@renwal11 @sherlynnlynn @StephenM Ok, but if not Medicaid, then what cuts do you think they will make? Because cuts are inevitable. That's what the budget proposal calls for. With no increase in revenue (because they refuse to increase taxes for millionaires and billionaires), how will money be saved?
@RepNancyMace@ClemsonUniv Instead of spreading unwarranted hate, how about focusing on things that actually hurt/kill people. Gun control, prescription drug prices, climate change, etc. Pick a real problem rather than a made up one that's not even your business.
