Absolutely tragic news, totally shocked when we heard earlier. An absolutely fantastic footballer who played the right way and was absolutely magnificent the 3x we played against him with Jerviston u19s last year. Thoughts and prayers with all his family and friends

So after 12 years together the 02s have made the tough decision to call it a day.

Been a great journey and big congrats to Davie & Willie who were their from day one.

@Blantyresa02 Yip, he specifically said grassroots unlikely till 2021. If it happens will totally decimate u19 age group.

@Wishaw_WW_AFC @nlcpeople @nlleisure should also say that the Sports Centre have duty of care to customers. They didnt even check access today as they were told by area manager to keep it open. Thankfully our ref took view that it's not safe. You cannot expect players, coaches & parents to go through deep puddles

3rd time in 5 weeks our games been off due to flooded access to pitch (also had a game where we went across grass & all got soaking wet feet & one of our parents fell and hurt themselves)

@Wishaw_WW_AFC @nlcpeople @nlleisure I was up, parents and kids were soaked getting to pitch. It is a scandal. Its not safe, to get to pitch you are ankle deep in water on the grass never mind the path.
Raised path or drainage trenches either side of path are needed. @nlcpeople @nlleisure fighting over who pays
