@OginiSolomon It makes no difference to Ronaldo legacy if he ends up on 999 goals or 1001

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@Tim_Clif You can do a deep dive on the names of our indigenous radars from a few decades back

RANI
RASHMI
APARNA

Would be interesting

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@fkrharral This is rubbish, almost all former Indian players have always been effusive about Imran, Javed, the 2 Ws and even Inzi

Look no further than Gavaskar, Kapil or Amarnath in his Recently released book

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@pandita_kewal @Salfee12 Your first line itself completed this discussion

QED

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@pandita_kewal @Salfee12 Did Lara have a 600 run series against SL in SL ? Yes

Did Sehwag play spin well and play Murali well ? Yes

Both can be true

Lara wouldn't have given his wicket away to spinners on long hops though

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@CricketTrend309 @Salfee12 Sachin wasn't a bad player of spin just Lara was a different class

Not sure about YK record against Murali would have thought Inzamam

VVS was an exceptional player of spin among that era

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@Movie_Micky9 @MAA_Gunner Yes every fan has the right to his own take

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@Movie_Micky9 @MAA_Gunner Fair I don’t know this part

But wouldn’t hold it against the man, he gave whatever he could to Arsenal and then when he was feeling no unwanted looked for the best solution for himself and his family (all of us would)

Worked well too he’s won basically everything in his career

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@Movie_Micky9 @MAA_Gunner He didnt ask to leave, we pushed him as we wanted Auba

Was a proper carousel chain of transfers where we sell Giroud to Chelsea, Chelsea loan Batshuayi to Dortmund, and Dortmund sold Auba to us

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

#LIVvMCI it is the poorest game I have seen between these 2 teams for more than a decade I think

Neither side showing any real quality at the business end , just a lot of snappy tackles and losing of the ball by both teams

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@vk_matters__ No sir, never

They invented these green wickets only after his retirement

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@SubhashiniAli How easily was the work bigoted slipped in ? Into a condolence line no less !!

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

#AjitAgarkar lot of views abt his tenure as Chief Selector

I personally feel that he& BCCI prioritised the short term and got 3 ICC trophies yet Indian cricket is at a cross roads.. once Bumrah retires I doubt we will be at a good level in any format and audiences will dip too

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@nimishdubey @doddaganesha Thank you for that perspective

Reading about some individual players from various teams it seems the WSC pushed themselves to better levels and to be more professional than previously (esp the pace bowlers of all teams), I believe Imran mentioned it somewhere too

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@_ShaliniSingh_ Banter is an ever present in male groups

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@nimishdubey @doddaganesha True abt 70s sir.. spin quartet, Gavaskar, Engineer all world class

On the flip side, the team didnt quite evolve well entering the 80s, despite Kapil's arrival

Reason I feel is avoiding WSC where all the superstars played & evolved their game (none more than Pakistan)

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@ash_chowder @bs_frr Hope to visit this place soon

Have to give an honourable mention to Sage Farm Cafe for their innovative use of local ingredinets in their dishes , a very nice dining experience

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@ash_chowder @bs_frr Yes agree with most of the things

I feel hospitality here is more from the heart (which is good), but lacks finesse and professional touch

The spice issue is important, it ruins most dishes and makes the restaurant scene very one dimensional for outsiders

[Anand Mohan Chitta @WittysparkCAM]

@sahilk @sanketnadhani @CNTIndia @handbidexterous Pune isn't that great i feel, a bit like Hyderabad good but not super memorable
