@VDAREJamesK The worst thing that could happen to gaming in the next ten years is if there isn't a massive crash in the market. How else will we see springs beauty without the winters strangling grip? We may live to see another golden age of gaming.
@JoelJ_Garcia That's an unfair statement. PCs have way more options for software storage than console ever could have hoped for. So long as games have no DRM you can just shove a copy of it onto a thumb drive, or burn it to a disc, and still play it. Console doesn't have that capability at all
@DyingLightGame I wasn't even aware that this was supposed to come out on those platforms. Kind of impressive that this was even going to be attempted tbh.
@LetypoMkiii Because as annoying as PC master race people can be, they are ultimately right. The timeline of a console generation is getting shorter and shorter, and prices keep increasing with very little increase in console quality. Plus PCs have way more uses beyond just gaming.
@TheGameVerse It's very much a one-and-done type game, though it is a very fun first playthrough. CDPRs insistence that you only get one respec for core stats per char is just silly. The difference in gameplay between different builds and playstyles isn't interesting enough to make replay fun.
@unirespecter I don't feel like Deus Ex and SS2, and sometimes Morrowind, are save scum centric games. The auto save features are definitely lacking, probably due to tech limitations, but they're not games that relish in seeing you have to redo hours of content after a mistake like MW or FO1&2
@lastchalice No. Xbox has been posturing to eliminate physical media for years to usher in the age of fully digital purchasing, then later cloud based gaming. Even with the price hikes for computer parts it's still cheaper and more cost effective to build a PC instead.
@ChipKeatingOK The whole point of the taxes we provide is to use them. On paper it looks like a waste of revenue, but only when you're not seeing the differences those "wasted" funds are actually making for citizens. The only funds you consider wasted are the ones that aren't being given to you
@TurboMotherBro@madcap412 That seems to be the prevailing attitude on social media. People can be negative irl but usually there's a limit to what people will tolerate before someone calls you out for being a negative-nelly. On the Internet, however, that's completely reversed.
@Search_Games@SJimtendo@devolverdigital Imagine being so stupid that not only do you admit to being a plagiarist, you also double down and then attempt to minimize it. It takes more effort to steal a description than it does to just write your own, or at the very least cite where you got the description right below it.
@JamieMoranUK Smells like advertisement. Starfield is, at best, a bland and derivative bowl of reheated first person "rpg" sauce. All of the systems from combat to scanning are disjointed and are a chore, leveling skills is a thankless time sink, and the story stock and nothing.
@JoshStrifeHayes Correct me if I'm wrong, but you started up the union guild before there was a financial incentive to advertise for WoW. Nothing wrong with cashing out, but after calling out grifting devs for years are you really surprised about how people have reacted?
@PandaTVoce Retail WoW needs a complete reset if it wants to realign with what their players want, but that won't happen because they're too afraid after how badly the shift from OW1 to 2 was.
@realDavidBJr Lmao I like how you included KotSK to prove you're watching new shows and not just the usual picks of TV snobs. But a deal is a deal, so I guess you get to keep your firstborn.
@inkblotPrincess Half the problem is that the map is too big for its own good. If they would have halved the size and focused those resources onto making what's left a more content dense area it would have made making the game an RPG more manageable IMO. What we got was basically Borderlands.
