It has now been 48 hours since Blair Fetter's franchise-destroying decision about @martingero's Stargate series was shared.

I am still infuriated. The *one thing* you don't do is alienate the fans. "A fresh new perspective" will FAIL.

In my 32 years of life, I have watched at least 90 TV shows to completion and begun watching a further 95.

Of those 185, my favourite is Stargate Atlantis.

@martingero is the only one I trust to spearhead Stargate's next chapter.

This anger over Blair Fetter's short-sightedness and unprofessionalism is going to last a while.

Recently I introduced 3 friends to Stargate by watching all of SG-1 & Atlantis 2 nights a week for 11 months. We're now on Universe.

They knew nothing prior.

Blair Fetter's decision to end @martingero's Stargate series absolutely infuriates me.

The *only* way for a new Stargate to reach a wide audience *is* for it to appeal to the fans. Word of mouth and their excitement will do the rest.

@cthulchuu @aaronkellerOW The solution to that problem would be to not make rewards so hard to get. A lesson learned, I hope.

@aaronkellerOW Hopefully this comes with a larger lesson - stop making challenges more complex and raising requirements every season.

At most, the legendary title should have been no higher than 38 challenges from the beginning, and Meta challenges should not have been excluded.

@notzelduh @aaronkellerOW Meta challenges and Loot Box Charge challenges do not count towards the titles. I expect this is one of the reasons people struggled to reach the 48.

@Virtual_OW @PlayOverwatch The image says Match XP, which per previous Double Match XP weekends they explicitly don't include challenges or endorsements. Though I think it does include win and endurance bonuses?

@impactoGaming @PlayOverwatch It's progress towards the Battle Pass. However, 2x Match XP is only 2% more (200XP) per match.
