@ReachDrMuganga is undermining a legitimate debate by framing it as discrimination against him as a Munyarwanda. That is not the issue. An expired passport does not mean one ceases to be a citizen; a passport is merely a travel document. Many Ugandan citizens do not even hold passports.
The real issue is straightforward: if you acquired Rwandan citizenship while working in Rwanda, Canadian citizenship while in Canada, and later Ugandan citizenship, then simply state the facts as they are. There is nothing inherently wrong with holding multiple citizenships. The question is whether Ugandaโs Constitution and laws permit a person with that citizenship history to hold certain offices, including that of Minister. That is the debateโnot ethnicity.
Uganda is facing a nationwide power blackout following a grid failure today, June 5, 2026. Distribution company UEDCL announced that the bulk supplier, UETCL, reported an emergency affecting electricity supply across the country.

Madam Minister Designate,
I think congratulations on your new position are in order.
I also think that if indeed it is God who chose you and has imposed you upon the country, it is highly likely that this God is punishing the country for something.
Atugambe tweโneenye instead of sending such pestilences in the name of โleadersโ.
First he sent us Ebola, next he sent Nameere.
What will be next? Floods to wipe us all out?
Let this God that you speak of just tell us the wrong we did to deserve leaders like you and we shall repent.
Congratulations again. โ๐พ

Itโs either our very leaders are delusional or simply lack political will to do the needful!
Anyway what to do when those with ideas have no power and those with power are completely green! About what to do! What a paradox!
But donโt forget fate is a double crosser!!!!!!!
If you can allocate over 10Bn Ugx for some company to teach Ugandans how to drink coffee! And you canโt appropriate money for a group that is centrally the engine of our healthcare system! Mukisusa!
