Saint Pope John Paul II said that the Sacred Heart of Jesus “has given men everything: redemption, salvation, sanctification.”
Today, with gratitude for this most amazing gift, the Bishops of the United States are consecrating our country to the Most Sacred Heart.
Catholics, Christians, and all patriots should read this message from the President and pray for our country today.

@SpeelingBChamp@BibleInContext1 The apostle's appointed them. It's biblical. Thus proving an unbroken line from apostles-bishops still continuing to this day. Hope that helps ❤️
@SpeelingBChamp@BibleInContext1 How can apostolic succession be a false gospel when the guy who talked about preaching a false gospel is telling other apostles to not neglect the gift of appointing Bishops....
@SpeelingBChamp@BibleInContext1 Perfect... In 1 Timothy 4:14, the Apostle Paul urges his young protégé Timothy: "Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the presbyterate. Do you know what a presbyterate is?
1 Timothy 4:14-Do not neglect the gift you have, which was conferred on you through the prophetic word* with the imposition of hands of the presbyterate.
"presbyterate" is πρεσβύτερος (presbyteros), which literally translates to "elder" or "older person". In early Christian communities, it was used interchangeably with episkopos (meaning "overseer" or bishop) to describe the elected leaders and shepherds of the church.
@SpeelingBChamp@BibleInContext1 You're right!
And then it's the students of the apostle's
Ignatius of Antioch,Polycarp of Smyrna,Clement of Rome.
And then their students.
And so on and so forth.
