Over 250,000 hectares of land has burnt with 1254 fires detected since start of the year. As wildfires become more frequent, intense & complex, reliable monitoring, forecasting, cross-border data sharing & #EarlyWarnings are critical to protect lives, livelihoods & ecosystems.
