@DarrenArsenal1 I think he was remarking upon the competition Arsenal face for silverware more than trying to draw a line between Arsenal and IRG.
Not a comparison I would have made regardless.
@SkySportsPL Posed for the cameras.
Did the interviews.
Acted the big man.
Now he’s disowning it.
As if he didn’t mean it.
He’s an embarrassment to his club.
@lukestanley03 Who is they? He was favourite in his first 10 seasons. He always had the highest wage bill etc. He’s a great manager and he achieved huge success but let’s not pretend like he didn’t have every advantage over rivals & anything less would have been a failure.
@StatisticUrban The central line purposefully goes out to Theydon Bois/Epping to give Londoners access Epping Forest. The largest forest in London, purchased by the City of London in the late 19th century as the first preservation movement in Europe. The trees & green fields are the entire point
@johncrossmirror It’s pretty obvious that Arsenal, considering the injuries to Saka, Havertz, Odegaard, Timber, Gabriel & Calafiori, would not be in the position they’re in now without the spend this summer. The real question is why did they let Nwaneri go in Jan?
@StanCollymore Fulham, Brighton, Brentford, Palace, United, Sunderland, Forest & others are so dangerous attacking space from half way to the box that you can’t commit players to possession around the opp box. careful wing play & low risk build up so you don’t lose it in certain areas.
@StanCollymore Nonsense. Pep himself isn’t playing that control oriented style anymore because you can’t do it when teams are so transitional. Arsenal are not blame for that, it’s the 5th - 15th teams that have changed the league and to their credit. Arteta just responded to this change best.
@jj_bull Arsenals insane OOP ruins games apparently. Not the fact that Chelsea came with 5 atb and 2 CDM whilst a goal down. If you can’t beat Arsenal playing football apparently it’s arsenals fault teams don’t try.
"When thousands of innocent people are completely killed it hurts me!"
"Humanity is better than ever in terms of possibilities. We can do everything. But still, right now, we kill each other. For what?!"
Pep Guardiola delivers hugely passionate speech on the power of images and humanity. 🧠
Remember when we learned that our wealthiest and most powerful people were connected to a guy who ran a literal child sex trafficking ring? And then that guy died mysteriously in a jail? And now we just don't talk about it.
@CarlBovis_AFC That’s the problem. We play well enough to justify this style but lose enough to lose us the league. The margins just aren’t enough. We have to change.
@kayakaynak97 Not having it. You can’t tell 60k people they’re wrong to feel something. Its comes from the set up. This team have to show more courage. You can’t win a league 1-0 anymore. The margins are too small & the opposition too capable.
@clivepafc Clive. We allowed them nothing & created enough to win the game comfortably. Fantastic save aside, we have to finish those chances. Especially Martinelli’s given the time in the game, he has to do better. Very disappointing.
@Jon_Mackenzie Saliba & Ruben Diaz are way out in front.
Pacho & Cubarsi are a distant tied second.
Then there’s the rest, Konate, Upamecano, Romero, Asencio are all mostly good but have gone through very tough periods
Promising; Thiaw, Zabarnyi, Murillo, Mosquera, Diomande.
