@Drweloveu @elonmusk It is short for cisgender. It means that your gender identity is aligned with the gender assigned to you at birth based on your genitals.

@elonmusk Uh, ma'am, I'm pretty sure that cis is a term to describe gender preferences and not their sexuality. Without a term you are basically dividing the world into people who are "normal" (like me) and "abnormal" (people who are different from me). That's pretty darned exclusionary.
