The actual quote: “We don’t want to get into a war, because it’s not good for Israel. We have the ability to take Lebanon back to the Stone Age, but we don’t want to do it.” This is in the context of daily attacks by Hezbollah including rockets, shooting, & drones since October.
The UN's allegations against Israel re aid were based on a lie: it wasn't counting all the trucks going into Gaza.
Now @UNRWA has uploaded a new dashboard, with a disclaimer admitting it records only UN trucks, i.e. not all the commercial traffic.
Israel is owed an apology.
Read this carefully.
The part that Owen Jones finds “nauseating” isn’t the gang rape of a young girl motivated by antisemitism, but that it might hurt the political party that has been downplaying such bigotry.
Hilarious.
Maldives planned to ban Israelis, but bc Israel is a multicultural society and the ban was meant to only target Jews, they had to pause it.
They might have been confused because Maldives is an actual apartheid state where citizenship is restricted by religion.
Charlottesville style rallies on an almost daily basis. They are exactly who we said they were.
The idea these were every pro-peace demonstrations was always a lie. The terrorism support is open and consistent.
LMAOOOOO imagine a scenario where hostages taken (war crime) from Israel during a terrorist attack (war crime) and stored in civilian houses (war crime) and rescued which results in Palestinian deaths has people condemning Israel????????? 🤡 🤡 🤡
When Israel rescued 102 hostages from Entebbe in 1976, after Palestinian terrorists hijacked a plane full of Israelis to Uganda, UN Sec-Gen Kurt Waldheim (who served in the Wehrmacht) condemned Israel for a “serious violation of sovereignty.”
This isn’t our first rodeo.
He wasn’t “found dead.”
His remains were finally identified after EIGHT MONTHS, because we needed forensic anthropologists to work out who they belonged to. What did Hamas do to him that it took eight months to identify his remains?
UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini promised that he would enforce all of the 50 recommendations from the much-celebrated report by the "independent review group" on UNRWA, chaired by former French foreign minister Catherine Colonna. But we see that before the ink is dry, he is already shredding all of his promises into dust.
By Lazzarini meeting in Beirut with a league of terrorist groups, and reportedly making a deal with them to drop the suspension of Hamas-linked union leader Fathi al-Sharif, in exchange for caving in to their aggressive 2-month strike, it shows that the Colonna report and all the promises of reform and accountability are a bad joke.
UNRWA is proving that it is complicit with terrorists as much as ever, and that the agency is rotten to the core. 🧵👇
