Wow! 3.8% inflation is high but thanks to @GovKathyHochul auto insurers will be allowed annual rate increase of 5% despite her Uber paid for tort reform demands. No rebates or rate reductions from carriers despite taking away civil justice rights from NYers. Affordabilty? Nah!!
The NYS Senate leadership has fought for victim rights in these negotiations. Thank you. Based on the false promises from @GovKathyHochul, instead of limiting rate increases aren't NYers suppose to expect huge premium deceases from her tort reform? Isn't that what she said???
@GovKathyHochul doesn’t care about taking away rights from victims or needlesly clogging the courts. So long as the Uber campaign cash keeps flowing in she’s happy
Follow the money
In today’s @LongIslandPress, former prosecutor @GaryFalkowitz warns: Gov. Hochul's auto proposals weaken negligence laws & lets corporations escape accountability.
His son Ethan was killed by a drunk/high driver.
New Yorkers should be skeptical of any policy that promises affordability in exchange for rights.

@GovKathyHochul has gone anti-consumer and anti-civil rights against all New Yorkers. She wants to cozy up w price gouging insurance carriers in denying access to the courts in order to buy reelection. New Yorkers rights aren’t a bargaining chip for her political aspirations.
You paid for protection. Not a fight after the storm.
NPR reports that insurance costs keep rising, but when claims get cut, consumers are left paying more and getting less.
Presently, a party is responsible for their share of negligence which is just. This has been a fair legal tenet of our legal system for centuries. @GovKathyHochul wants to give a negligent party a free pass if they are 49% negligent or less. #followthemoney#whospullingthestrings
Governor Hochul’s car insurance plan would further incentivize insurance companies to delay and deny claims by injured victims so the companies can profit from investing those premiums.

Deny! Defend! Delay! Just as ins cos denied claims in NY in the aftermath of Sandy, they are at it again! These are the ones @govkathyhochul is trying to save more money w auto reforms when they are already denying almost 50% of claims! @nydems https://t.co/fVHlc9d5lz
A great piece of journalism pointing out how @GovKathyHochul agenda has nothing to do with reducing premiums. Just increased profits for her campaign benefactors @NYSenDems@nysdacc@DNC
.@GovKathyHochul claims to want to reduce your premiums, but instead of regulating insurance companies (who post record profits) & keeping them from gouging you she's backing their plan to take away your rights to recovery in the event of a crash. They're taking us for a ride.
