"5 lat – Tata wie wszystko!
7 lat – Tata wie dużo.
10 lat – A może tata nie wie wszystkiego?
12 lat – Tata się nie zna.
14 lat – Tata kompletnie odpłynął!
16 lat – Nie da się go traktować poważnie.
18 lat – Co on może wiedzieć?!
22 lata – Tata gada głupoty.
24 lata – Wiem więcej niż on.
26 lat – Może jednak coś tam tata kuma.
30 lat – Muszę to skonsultować z tatą.
40 lat – Jak on to wszystko ogarniał?!
45 lat – Tata jednak miał rację.
50 lat – Gdyby tylko był tu tata… Ile mógłbym się od niego nauczyć."

Since the start of the war in Ukraine, the Knights of Columbus, together with organizations such as CNEWA and the USCCB, have stood in solidarity with the Ukrainian people through financial, material and prayerful support.
The Knights have raised more than $24 million, provided 10 million pounds of food and supplies, distributed 350,000 care packages, and supported medical assistance and prosthetics.
For Ukrainians enduring the hardships of war, this support is a powerful reminder that they are not forgotten or alone. With every care package, every child clothed, and every widow and orphan helped, the Knights continue to bring hope — strengthened by the belief in the power of prayer and its capacity for miracles.

The final day of the 144th Supreme Convention in Denver began with the annual Memorial Mass, celebrated by Supreme Chaplain Archbishop William Lori and offered for Knights, family members and friends of the Order who died during the past year.
In his homily, Archbishop Lori reflected on today’s feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, emphasizing that the revelation of God’s glory through Christ was not only meant for the few apostles, but for every person.
“As we commend our beloved dead to the Father of Mercies, aren’t we praying with all our heart and soul that they have attained, or soon will attain, that full participation in the glory of God shining on the face of Christ?” Archbishop Lori said. “We miss them and remember them with the affection of friends. Yet no act of charity is greater than to pray for their salvation, to pray that their souls are purified by the glory of God.”
After the homily, Deputy Supreme Knight Arthur Peters read the necrology, listing recently deceased Knights of Columbus leaders.
The Memorial Mass began with a procession of relics, including those of Blessed Michael McGivney, the Order’s founder, and other K of C saints and blesseds; St. John Paul II; the Blessed Ulma family, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque and St. John Vianney. Following Mass, Knights and their families had the opportunity to venerate these holy men and women.
After years of war, the widows of fallen Ukrainian soldiers carry profound grief and uncertainty. Recognizing their need for spiritual healing, the Knights of Columbus in Ukraine and Poland organized a pilgrimage to offer prayer, fellowship, and renewed hope. Through their witness of charity and compassion, the Knights accompany these women on a journey of faith, helping them find strength in God and reminding them that they do not walk alone.
The 144th Supreme Convention of the Knights of Columbus opened this morning in Denver with a Mass for the feast of St. John Vianney at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center. Archbishop James Golka of Denver, who serves as state chaplain of Colorado, was the principal celebrant and homilist, joined by dozens of bishops and priests.
In his homily, Archbishop Golka reminded Knights that the Order exists to care for the people of God, urging them to seek the Lord’s will in every action — big and small.
“We can be busy about many, many good activities, but if they have not been planted by God, they’re going to fail,” Archbishop Golka said. “So what must we do before we do anything? Listen to God. Beg God for clarity on his plan. He already has a plan for the Knights of Columbus. He has a plan for your council. He has a plan for your marriage and your family. We need to be experts in listening to him, so we know what his plan is.”
Ultimately, the archbishop continued, every Knight should direct his life toward heaven and union with God.
“May this convention be a place where Jesus Christ unveils to us his reign, so we can live more for that and less for everything else,” Archbishop Golka said. “May every ... gathering of men to study their faith in Cor, every opportunity to raise money to help others, every ultrasound machine that we buy to support pro-life — may every one of those things be, in our heart, a place where we allow and ask Jesus to unveil for us his way.”
In a special video message to the 144th Supreme Convention, Pope Leo XIV calls on Knights to actively cultivate unity, practice charity and become “prophets of harmony” in their families, parishes and communities. He also expresses his gratitude for the Order’s enduring service to those in need and imparts his Apostolic Blessing upon all Knights and their families.
The Knights of Columbus receive the Holy Father’s message with gratitude and reaffirm our steadfast loyalty to him and to the Church.
Vivat Jesus!
