Twitter account for Barnet Enfield and Haringey MHT Women’s Network. Recently launched, watch this space for future meeting dates and news on our priorities.
If you have any ideas of actions we can take to support our themes, please let @ninavanm, @clairejwells, @Ennie17193031 or @HRShenaling know. We’re building our annual plan for the Network now.
We also considered the network themes of maternity, carers, parents, career development, menopause and personal safety, and what we could do under each of these themes in the coming year.
Confirmed @AlisonJBrandon as speaker for the next Women’s Network meeting on 11 May which also happens to be National staff networks day #viablevisiblevoices
"Women make up 80% of the (health & care) workforce..but women are not represented in leadership or senior clinical roles in numbers that reflect their contribution". Why we need action today on #IWD2022 & every day. My @BMJLeader blog with @Prerana_Issar: https://t.co/HdYspMrBTS
Hearing the brilliant @joan_myers share some fantastic insights re equality:

⭐Call out unequal behaviour
⭐Go where u r celebrated not where u r tolerated.
⭐ Work together in solidarity & unity.

“We have a lot to wage through as women” @TracieJolliff - bias, childbearing, less pay, glass ceiling/cliff, more domestic duties - start by loving yourself, find allies, go into nature, family and friends, dancing! Great gems of wisdom @hcwomenleaders#BreakingTheBias#IWD2022
Today we celebrate and say thank you to all the amazing women working hard across the NHS. We appreciate all you are doing to support and care for patients💙
