@pissed_06@annaforthedrama Saint Mark Xi Tianxiang and Saint Andrew Wouters beg to differ. Saint Mark Xi was denied communion until his death and was still canonized. So, I think that your perception of worthiness is skewed.
@PastorJAPauley3@redeemed_zoomer This is... factually wrong, considering that the Holy spirit being capable of witness and testimony is a core tenant of the LDS faith.
@nick_raso83@redeemed_zoomer See, I have to protest. I live in Arizona, and I know LDS in Arizona are kind of weird, but even we acknowledge that the Utahn's are way past weird and way too cliquish. The further from Utah you get, the more genuine the members get.
@TripInChina@peppercoyote Occasionally there are cases like Flint, Michigan where infrastructure failures lead to it being undrinkable, but this makes up a tiny fraction of a percentage.
@TripInChina@peppercoyote Yes, our laws are generally very strict about water quality coming out of our taps. Some places it might not taste great, but it's safe to drink.
@McFast_Food@webegga If it helps, during the 70s-90s-ish LDS parents decided that since the common link between black tea and coffee was caffeine, and coffee and black tea were prohibited by the word of wisdom explicitly, then sodas with caffeine were also off limits.
@TheoVon I sure this has been said but as a long time anti-depressant taker, the warnings about increased risk of suicide are not a joke. One of the big problems when starting new meds is that they give you the energy before they fix the headspace. It's super important to push through
@technocrat_cat@fivecentfox Okay, so you seem to be glossing over the part where there is a credible possibility of a strain that can transmit between humans.
@Greg68961105@c0ntrabane He directly addressed this in Matt. 25:41-46:
βDepart from me.. into the eternal fire.. I was hungry and you gave me nothing.. I was sick and you did not visit me.. whatever you did not do.. you did not do for me.'
That puts you exactly on the side He condemns. Why ignore that?
@2iCie_ @astrasdoctor No, they select for the top performers who are able to take directions from others, remain calm in the face of unexpected and sudden change, and communicate clearly and efficiently. The geniuses your opine for are on the ground, doing R&D and Operations.
