The boys were able to get out for a round this weekend and got to play Seaview (Bay). It was as advertised. Beautiful and difficult, despite being relatively short. And luckily we avoided the green flies. Excellent value for a public track.
Seaview Resort features some of New Jersey’s best public golf, and the Bay Course, designed in 1914 by Hugh Wilson and Donald Ross, is always a fun loop. The Bay hosts the LPGA each year, and it sits hard against the wetlands view views of the water at the Atlantic City skyline.
@brinyoyster@Sean_Zak@TheShotgunStart@BrendanPorath Well a medal at the Olympics gets them out of mandatory military service too...In a way you could make the case this is the most important tournament of their golfing careers.
By the way, we are entering peak Euro Tour season. Leading up to the Open Championship, there is the Irish Open (7/1) and then the Scottish Open (7/8). If you are a morning person this is your stretch! Also the fields are pretty good as guys usually play to prep for The Open.
I write an open letter to the @USGA that I hope the org, and you all, will read.
Don’t overthinks this.
Put Brooks and Bryson in the same group to kick off the U.S. Open.
