@supertanskiii I am convinced that both Coates & Rigby have changed since setting up their own podcasts. They'e gone from reporting on news to being 'content creators' who need something 'interesting' to talk about on their podcasts (which are being trounced by @RestIsPolitics &@TheNewsAgents )
Nigel Farage on the Jeremy Vine show backed Trump's plan to "make peace" in Ukraine.
I started my reply in Russian to go with the Kremlin mood music... then in plain English I set out why our people lost so much blood in WW1 and WW2 for a principle, that countries should not invade other countries to steal their land.
@GCSE_Macbeth@n8dogg61@chaoticteach It was for me. Studied it for A level in 1996 and wow, it had a massive impact on me. The reader I was before and then after reading it - poles apart.
Janey was fabulous on all the podcasts we did together, but lovely to hear so many of you remember the first one so fondly and delighted it introduced so many to this remarkable woman - You can listen here https://t.co/Vy3GwiAjAT
@JaneyGodley Such terribly sad news. My love and condolences to you and your family, Ashley. My strongest memory is singing along in the crowd with you and your mum in March 2023 at the Leicester Square theatre. Such love and laughter in that room that night. ๐
@peterjukes So many people followed him during the Brexit years, but his switch to Covid anti-vax & 'resistance' account pusher made many of us question his motives in 2020/21. The latest ๐ in his name has replaced the daft flower. So there is money and influence he can see on the horizon.
@LBC Deliberate clickbait headline here. It is the yearly salary before tax. Anyone who knows about these kinds of jobs knows that that is actually lower than average. Education CPD speakers in schools don't cost much less and they don't work a full day.
@sturdyAlex If Heath doesn't write a piece titled: 'The ordinary workers who have scrimped & saved for their private planes are the real victims' then he has gone down in my estimation. Surely there will also be a column about some woman's sex life that is ruined by NI increase.
@SkyNews@Jeremy_Hunt So those ordinary families who scrimp and save for their private planes? Those ones? Not one tax rise for working people today but plenty of opportunities for them to keep hold of more of their pay.
@BethRigby The Government not 'Labour'. Seems some journalists still can't quite make that distinction between opposition and governing. The Govt present the budget, not 'Labour'.
@PeterStefanovi2@KayBurley@wesstreeting When Burley mentions working people, does she need to define what it means first, like all Labour MPs now expected to? Or does she do what everyone else does and realize that people know exactly what the phrase means?
@exitthelemming To be fair, having spotted halloween tinsel and halloween wreaths in shops a couple of weeks ago, I welcome the Christmas tat to replace it. Can't come soon enough now.
