@chrisgenova You can change the name of an individual workout as shown in the app but you can't change the type of activity afterwards because several metrics that are calculated during the workout are dependent upon the activity type.
@chrisgenova The tennis activity doesn't store GPS data. I recommend using Other Outdoor instead. In the future I will add the ability to create custom activity types that map to Apple's types, so it would be possible to create a tennis activity with GPS. But that won't be for a while. Sorry.
@chrisgenova@chloe7527512533 It was released a couple of days ago. Automatic updates will happen over a week but you can use the iPhone App Store app to manually update now. Unfortunately Apple often do not update the watch app, so make sure to update that as well by using the App Store app on the watch.
@chrisgenova No-one else has mentioned that but I don't tend to support iOS/watchOS betas until they are properly released. Sorry about that. Maybe try rebooting both the watch and the iPhone to see if that helps with future workouts.
@JLMonvoisin@chloe7527512533 The next version will have turn by turn navigation (if the directions are in the route file) as well as climb detection and a lot more.
@BloodyOranje The app uses Apple’s workout system, so it is limited to the activity types that offers. However in the future I plan to allow the ability to create custom activity types that map to Apple’s types, so you could create new activity types.
@glass_hamlet You can see weekly totals in WorkOutDoors by tapping the icon in the top right of the Workouts tab and then grouping by Week. Glad you like the app!
@AvgOpinion You could use the screen lock (tap 4 times quickly) but configure it to just lock the crown and not the screen (in Settings / Other). Or configure different gestures to zoom in and out in Settings / Commands / Shortcuts. Maybe double tap and triple tap instead of crown rotations
@y_molodtsov The app supports the action button. To enable it go to Apple's Settings app on the watch and tap Action Button and set the Action to Workout and the App to WorkOutDoors. You can then configure what happens during a workout in the WorkOutDoors settings under Commands / Shortcuts.
@m_a_rnix The app uses Apple's workout system, so the workout focus should be enabled when you start a workout and disabled when you end it. I hope that helps.
@xhs30as Sorry you are having problems. Please could you send the .wkt file for that workout to [email protected]. To do this tap the Export button 3 times quickly.
@DavTechFr The app uses Apple’s workout system, so it is limited to the activity types that offers, which unfortunately do not include Sauna.
However in the future I plan to allow the ability to create custom activity types that map to Apple’s types, so you could create new activity types.
@chrisgenova The activities are automatically ordered by last used time, so your most common activities should appear at the top after you use them.
However you can move activities from the main menu of the watch app to the Other Activities menu by using the Menus option in the Settings.
@Jacko539 I am looking into that at the moment but unfortunately there isn't much information on what third party apps need to do in terms of supporting the effort level. Sorry about that. Glad you like the app!
@Alexbhv Great looking watch mount! Both those requests are on my to/do list. They aren’t high on the list at the moment but will rise slightly as a result of your request. Glad you like the app!
