New - Oxford University research in partnership with @Workerinfox exposes deepening exploitation of Uber drivers by algorithmic pay
https://t.co/RJZrGYPiN4
https://t.co/OceLT13clw How disgusting is this? @Uber is flaunting its lavish, multibillion Euro HQ in Amsterdam, where there's free food all day for staff and workers feel "my opinion matters." Peak shamelessness, says @ADCUnion, when our members are barely making minimum wage. Join ADCU today, the authentic voice for app drivers and couriers across the UK, supporting and representing workers in the platform economy. And start fighting back. https://t.co/5q20V5EwFz
My colleague Cansu Safak collaborated with the TUC on this important new report. Dynamic Pay is one of the most sinister developments in the labour market in decades and needs to be banned urgently.

It is a HSE legal requirement that restaurants MUST provide access to toilets for delivery workers. @wagamama_uk Camden force couriers to use a "Deliver-loo" separate from customers. Can you guess which one is which? Much easier to exploit a humiliated & marginalised workforce!
Important day tomorrow in Stichting @WorkerInfoX legal action to stop Dynamic Pay. Uber drinking in the last chance saloon tonight. We meet with their lawyers tomorrow in last ditch effort. I'm hoping they'll see sense & meet our demands so that much unpleasantness can be avoided

Desperate move by Uber. Since dynamic pay was introduced in Ireland a few weeks ago, taxi drivers have been deleting the app and boycotting Uber. Now Uber is targeting the very drivers who deleted the app with a €500 bribe. The drivers see right through it and are standing firm!

Congrats to the LTDA. This is an important victory not least because delinking the agent/principal principle for VAT liability would open up a path for an attack on worker status as well - perhaps the prize Uber was really after. A rare victory for workers and the public purse.
