The crisis of low pay in precarious work is nothing new, but the rapid and substantial increase in the cost of living is placing so many workers in a dire and unsustainable position.
Crieff Hydro complain to the council and the press about how 'the locals don't want to work', when they're advertising jobs like this. Not a single one of their listings specifies salary. Why isn't this mentioned in the @STVNews article?

Many of our members are still having to make requests over and over for holiday pay they are owed, and being ignored. This is a bare minimum ask and legal requirement and the company can’t even fulfil it. This is far from over.
