At Discount Tire getting a rotation when a truck guy walks up:

Me: “Nope. Ceramic coated.”

Him: “Bet it can’t tow anything.”
Me: “Just towed my 28’, 7,500 lb Airstream from Vegas to South Texas.”

Him: “But it can’t go far.”
Me: “130–160 miles between charges.”

Him: “Bet charging is expensive.”
Me: “Free.”

Him: “Well the battery’s pricey to replace.”
Me: “8-year, 150k-mile warranty.”

Him: “Still bad for the environment when it’s replaced.”
Me: “Tesla recycles over 95% of each battery.”

No disappointment here. I love the towing range and power this truck provides for me and my family. Here are the stats from our last camping trip: drive, park, charge at the campsite, and drive home.

Everyone, please stop obsessing over range. I can’t drive anywhere without passing several Supercharger locations. Charging options are everywhere. If you run out of battery, you’re not planning properly. When I need to Supercharge, I handle it like an adult and supercharge.

Kudos to Tesla for discontinuing the range extender. We didn’t need it. Plus, I didn’t want to see YouTubers complaining about the space it takes up or claiming it’s insufficient range and that Tesla lies.

The dance party was a blast, but the music was far too loud for the little ones on stage. My watch buzzed with ear damage alerts—90 dB is safe, but 106 dB? That’s reckless, especially for kids who don’t know better. Let’s keep the parties going and lower the volume to a safe, measured 90 dB, please.

The voice data rate is too slow for air transportation. New airplane navigation is needed to deliver instructions quickly and clearly to pilots. If my phone were mounted on the instrument panel and the air traffic controller texted me instructions, I would have faster communication than with the current system.
